The biggest chunks of KQ debts were recently converted to equity(for the lenders). What does that exactly mean for the investor and KQ itself?

Perhaps instead of receiving payment cash payment, KQ creditors have been allocated X no of shares to earn from - in the event KQ shares soar. For Investors it means their earnings per share have been diluted due to the increased no of shares in trading. I could be wrong though.

The KQ debt conversion to shares is yet to be felt by the stock price itself. The movement of the price mid 6ksh per share to 5 ksh per share is as a result of speculation of the dilution to come. This is may take a while till after the elections once a new government is in place. Currently the whole deal is shelved till after August. This is enough to get your capital ready

KQ has not been able to service it's debts to many banks. why is it that these banks have not provided the debt in their books? are they not past 90days?
